David Zingler was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1975.
In 1985, his family relocated to the Twin Cities area where he attended high school. David graduated from St. Cloud State
University in 1998 with a B.A. in political science and a minor in speech communication.
His writing career began in
2001 when he first published Simply-Baseball-Notebook.com. Since that time, David has done work for Minnesota Public Radio,
Internet Broadcasting, Minnesota Score Magazine and Let's Play Baseball, among others. He was also featured
in the independent movie, Leaf.
David lives in Minneapolis with his wife Kyla and their two cats. He is an
avid sports fan and political junkie and enjoys reading, traveling and photography.
